I'm a web design and research consultant from Santa Cruz, California. I recently received my Masters in Library and Information Science. I enjoy creating pottery and gardening year round, and also have a small computer tutoring business. I'm also part Ukrainian and have survived a two and a half year bout with Trigeminal Neuralgia. Why am I writing about all this? I'd like to meet other librarians and Ukrainians, and also offer myself as a resource for those who have Trigeminal Neuralgia.I've been accused of being rather "busy". I attribute the relatively recent blooming of my many interests to having survived TN. For two and a half years, I was unable to speak or eat without excruciating pain. Naturally, this condition thwarted my social life. Now that I'm pain-free, I have much catching up to do.
As I continue to update these pages, I hope to offer even more useful information and resources for librarians, craftspeople, Ukrainians,and, last but not least, those with TN.
